In October 2019, something unexpected happens in Chile: one and a half million people demonstrate on the streets of Santiago for more democracy, a dignified life, better education, a better health system and a new constitution. A people is standing up, 47 years after the military coup - and the voices and chants of the women are particularly loud. With success: the old constitution is overturned, a new one is drafted and women now make up the majority in the government. Guzmán, whose works deal with the socio-political legacy of the dictatorship, says: "Now Chile has recovered its memory." The film is a contemporary document that captivates and delves under the skin.
