"I don't make films about happy couples." Peter Strickland, born 1973 in Reading, UK, uses sound design as an integral part of storytelling. With five feature films and numerous short films, he has established himself as a unique voice in European cinema. In conversation with Prof. Dr. Stiglegger and the audience, Strickland will provide insights into his working process.

Prof. Dr. Marcus Stiglegger, born 1971, teaches film studies at the universities of Mainz, Regensburg and Klagenfurt, the Film Academy Ludwigsburg and the University of Applied Sciences Münster. Habilitation 2005 on the subject of the seduction theory of film (Ritual & Seduction, Berlin: Bertz + Fischer 2006). Practical work with video essays and film music.
