Pryputni is home to three generations of a family. While the grandmother lives in the remote village, her daughter and granddaughter have found new places to live beyond the small village. But even at a distance, the women are more alike than they would like. They face their miserable living conditions either with harshness, love or hatred - always edged with insults or snide comments. But Pryputni, of all places, can become a turning point for the three: Strange events on just one day's visit to their grandmother challenge the women to self-reflection. A social stocktaking of Ukraine. Sometimes funny, sometimes bitter, always serious.
