With his college sweetheart Ashleigh, Gatsby is planning a romantic weekend in New York. Ashleigh is supposed to interview the famous director Roland Pollard for the college newspaper, in the remaining time Gatsby wants to show her his city – and this is especially old New York with classics like Bemelmans Bar and a carriage ride through Central Park. While Ashleigh slithers from one unexpected situation to the next with Pollard, his screenwriter Ted Davidoff and the acclaimed film star Francisco Vega, she has to comfort Gatsby again and again. Left on his own, he drifts through the streets of New York in the rain.
