The 20-year-old Daniel (excellently played by Bartosz Bielenia) is inspired by the priest of the juvenile detention centre. But his big dream of becoming a priest is blocked because of his criminal past. He is sent to work in another city. There, on a whim, he pretends to be a priest. He is needed, is accepted. Although there are prejudices, with his great charisma he is very persuasive. He breaks up old structures, helps the small community to cope with a terrible loss. But can you escape your past so easily? Is it enough to put on a priest's collar? When am I a good person? Through an office, clothing or my actions?

Director's Biography:Born in 1981 in Posen, Poland. He completed his education in directing at the Łódź Film School. For his debut film SUICIDE ROOM he was nominated for a Teddy Award.
