The romantic fantasy comedy is based on the novel series of the same name and offers biting entertainment. The film is the sequel to THE VAMPIRE SISTERS (2012). The emotional world of pubescent girls becomes an adventure with bizarre humour and some horror in which even lovers of blood spider soufflé get their money's worth. For the score, Zerlett wondered what sort of music vampires make – and tapped into Transilvanian folk music: Jew's harp, duduk and other ethnic overtone and woodwind instruments complement the orchestral sounds of the Babelsberg Film Orchestra. Zerlett was very pleased that he could also write punk songs for the rock star vampire Murdo – and a Transilvanian vampire national anthem.

Director's Biography:Groos, born in Kassel in 1968, first worked as a production manager and assistant director before studying at the dffb  to become "Producer". After first directing TV series, he focused mainly on children's and young people’s films.
