Juha is at an idyllic lake with his wife and daughter. Then fate strikes, Juha's wife tragically drowns. Emotional emptiness and self-hatred determine his life from then on. Years later, he accompanies his daughter when she gets her tongue pierced - and meets Mona, a dominatrix. The unbelievable happens. Mona cuts off Juha's breath. This triggers a comforting hallucination in him. His life takes on a new meaning...Gently, the film, illustrated in well over fifty shades of grey and neon red, and well worth watching, shows a reciprocal power structure. DOGS DON'T WEAR PANTS tells its story of loss, love and the sweet pain of being with a lot of dark humour.
