A showcase for the film scene

As part of this year's 35th Braunschweig International Film Festival (BIFF), which welcomes a hybrid edition from 1 to 7 November, the Filmfest-Verein as the organizer invites you to a major showcase campaign.

As part of this year's 35th Braunschweig International Film Festival (BIFF), which welcomes a hybrid edition from 1 to 7 November, the Filmfest-Verein as the organizer invites you to a major showcase campaign. "The Braunschweig Festival has always seen itself – especially for the local scene of filmmakers: directors, producers, screenwriters & many more – as a platform for networking, exchange and visibility," explains Falk-Martin Drescher, press spokesman for the festival. That is why this year's exhibition will also create a platform in the shops of Braunschweig's city centre. Drescher says: "We want to give the short and feature films that were made in the region or produced by creatives from the region – but also university video productions, animated films & Co. space for additional presence."Filmmakers from the region are invited to participate, regardless of whether they live here, come from Braunschweig and the surrounding area or are enrolled at one of the local colleges or universities. "Whether it's a published film, work for the university or even freelance production – we invite all creatives with a cinematic connection to become part of the joint exhibition," says the press spokesman.

 

Film stills, backstage photos, press photos or other motifs of the respective films, regardless of the type of film production, can be submitted. A variety of participants and productions The image material should be sent in the highest possible resolution (at best via a Dropbox or a download link) – by e-mail to socialmedia@filmfest-braunschweig.de.

 

Please provide the submission of the motifs with the title of the film and a short picture description for a better assignment. If possible, please also with a link to further information.

 

The following applies: The more information the festival has about the submitter and the production or the film stills, the better. "We are looking forward to a variety of participants and presented productions." The closing date for submissions is Friday, October 22, 11 p.m. The first pictures will then be on display in countless shop windows of the shops in Braunschweig's city centre from around mid-October.
