A piece of gum, discarded by a nine-year-old boy beneath his school desk, suddenly comes to life and finds itself confused and lost. Three older pieces of gum, stuck under the same desk, inform the new arrival that they are in the 'graveyard of gums.' Desperate to return to the boy's mouth, the young gum attempts to make its way back to its previous home. As the boy opens his locker, the gum jumps onto books and tries to convince him that it's still chewy and juicy. The boy, horrified, hits the gum with a textbook, leaving the young gum in despair. However, the older gums observe the situation and decide to lend a hand. They combine their efforts and form a small gumball, which attracts other gums from around the school. Together, they become a giant gumball and chase after the boy. Despite the boy's attempts to run away, the gumball catches up and knocks him down. The gumball then lets the chewy gum into the boy's mouth, making him chew it. As the boy struggles, the gumball spots another piece of gum placed under a different desk and rolls towards the second boy
