Can agriculture also be based on solidarity? For more than nine years, Moritz Springer accompanied the "Kartoffelkombinat", a solidarity-based agriculture in the Munich area, with his camera. For the two founders Daniel Überall and Simon Scholl, the cultivation of vegetables originally served as a Trojan horse to advance a much bigger idea. The two want a different economic system, an alternative to the capitalist mode of production. Springer documents the development of the project, phases of growth but also of crises and how different ideas merge or not. Is it possible to do business successfully outside of capitalist logic?
