Together with the android Carlos Rivera, who is the incarnation of her dead ex-colleague and is mourning his broken family, the stubborn private detective Aline Ruby is supposed to take a notorious hacker to Mars. However, while this is taking place, they become entangled in the case of the missing cybernetics student Jun Chow, who is on the run from mercenary assassins. The duo thereby pushes deeper and deeper into the underworld of the Martian capital, a swamp of corruption, illegal brain farms and working robots that are beginning to revolt in order to turn our world upside down. Incredibly gripping and atmospheric right up to the final minute, this is sci-fi in the best film-noir style!

Director's Biography:Jérémie Périn studied at the Gobelin High School and then worked at various animation studios. Later he devoted himself to writing and producing TV series, short films and music videos. MARS EXPRESS is his first feature-length film.
