Haleh's quiet life as a scientist in the Netherlands is abruptly disrupted. 37 years after her daughter Mitra was executed in Iran, she meets the woman who once supposedly betrayed her daughter. Having just arrived in the Netherlands, and a loving mother herself, she does not recognise Haleh and trusts her as a wise, older woman.

As Haleh plans her trap, she gets closer to the perpetrator than she would like. What price is Haleh willing to pay now that the power to retaliate is within her grasp? Or is forgiveness the better way after all?

Gripping drama with strong autobiographical features and a convincing Jasmin Tabatabai as Haleh.
