Passes (5-pass, 10-pass, season ticket)

You can purchase our passes (5-, 10-ticket, season ticket) online and convert them into regular tickets for the events on site.

Please note that these are not valid for special events (opening, short film breakfast, etc.).

5-, 10-tickets and season tickets (online and on site):

1. 5-, 10-, season tickets can be redeemed for up to 5 or 10 tickets, or for all regular events (season ticket), worth up to €11.01 as part of the 39th Braunschweig International Film Festival. Tickets of 5 and 10 can be redeemed individually for different events or collectively for one event. Tickets of 5 and 10 can also be redeemed for other events, e.g. children's screenings (5€).

Season tickets are not transferable and cannot be redeemed simultaneously for performances in the same time slot. Holders of 5-, 10- and season tickets must have a seat ticket printed out at the box office or redeem it online for the desired event.

2. 5-, 10- and season tickets are not valid for special events (openings, concerts, short film breakfasts, etc.). The season ticket is also valid for the award ceremony and the silent film concerts (limited number).

3. please note: A season ticket is personal. The season ticket is provided with a photo and name of the holder as well as a "verification sticker" ("security seal"). Please bring a photo with you at the time of purchase, or at the latest on your first visit to the event, in order to have your ID completed at the counter in the Astor or in the Universum (advance booking only). Admission will not be granted without photo ID and the relevant ticket for the event.

Season ticket holders also need a ticket for each screening and must show their ID at the entrance.

4. if an event is canceled, e.g. due to a technical malfunction for which a ticket has already been validated, a replacement in the form of a free ticket for the 39th Braunschweig International Film Festival will be refunded. A cash payment will not be made.

5. 5 and 10 tickets are transferable. Season tickets are not transferable.

6. exchange is excluded.

7. payment of the value of any remaining tickets is excluded.

8. remaining tickets not redeemed expire on November 17, 2025.

Purchase 5-, 10-tickets in the web store (online):

Please note that there is a service charge of €2 per online transaction. This fee does not apply at the regular box office of the Filmfest.

1) Go to our webshop at www.filmfest-braunschweig.de under Tickets (on the right).

2) You must register before making your first purchase. The tickets will be sent to you by e-mail after your purchase. Please note: You must first purchase a pass - after receiving the promotional code in the confirmation email (link), you can redeem it for tickets. The pass is not valid on its own. It must always be redeemed for corresponding event tickets. It can be redeemed at the advance booking offices or online. Online, you must enter the promotional code from the confirmation email for each ticket.

3) Then enter the corresponding pass in the search or click on the respective link here: 5-ticket, 10-ticket or season ticket.

4) Now enter the number of passes you want. For example, you can also purchase two 10-pass tickets or one 5-pass ticket and one 10-pass ticket.

Purchase a season ticket in the web store (online):

1) A season ticket is personal. The season ticket is provided with a photo and name of the holder as well as a "verification sticker" ("security seal"). 2) Buy a season ticket via the webshop (see purchase of 5-, 10-tickets in the webshop).

3) After purchasing, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link with your personal code - you can use this to book films in the webshop immediately.

4) Select films in the webshop and enter your personal code in the ACTION CODE field (before adding the film to your shopping cart). See Redeeming 5, 10 and season tickets for regular tickets in the web store.

5) Check and place your order.

Alternatively, you can still purchase season tickets in advance and at the festival counter. Please bring a current photo with you to the pre-sale at Universum (30.10. - 10.11.25, see opening hours) or from 11.11. to the counter at Astor. There you will receive the regular badge with your photo and name on it (non-transferable).

Redeem 5-, 10-tickets and season tickets for regular tickets in the web store (online):

1) Search for an event at www.filmfest-braunschweig.de under Program and then click on Ticket after the desired date. Alternatively, you can also go directly to our web store.

2) You will now be redirected to the desired film in our online store. Under "Promotional code", enter your 13-digit ticket code, which you will find on the left under or next to the barcode on your 5/10/season ticket and click on: Redeem. If you have purchased your ticket online, you will find the 13-digit ticket code in the PDF of the confirmation e-mail (please note: click on the link to generate the PDF).

3) Now enter how many tickets you would like to purchase for the event and how many you would like to book on which voucher. Example: You would like to book a movie with your 5-ticket and also book a normal ticket for your companion: 1x redemption of 5-ticket and 1x normal price.

4) You can now order your ticket as a guest or create an account for further orders. You can now choose how you would like to receive your ticket. print@home tickets will be sent to you by e-mail after receipt of payment, both for printing and as a mobile ticket.
