Great atmosphere, great conversations, and many many guests at the Berlinale reception for the German film music scene on Sunday, February 14th, that Braunschweig International Film Festival hosted in cooperation with Soundtrack Cologne, Filmtonart BR, DEFCOM - German Film Composer Union, Composer's Club, Mediamusic and Cinema Musica, Germany's only film music magazine .
More than 150 guests attended the reception at Café Lebensart near Potsdamer Platz, among them many of our festival guests of recent years such as Beate Warkentien of the European Film Philharmonic, Huan Vu, director of DIE FARBE, David Serong, editor Cinema Musica, former Leo jurors Prof. Dr. Enjott Schneider, Ilona Rieke of Filmbüro Bremen e.V., composer Christine Aufderhaar, music consultant Pia Hoffmann as well as former KINEMA-jury president Christian Halten, composer Andre Feldhaus, producer Mike Beilfuß of Kinescope Film, journalist Daniel Kothenschulte and Helmut Zerlett and Jochen Schmidt-Hambrock, members of the AKADEMIX, the official band of the German Film Academy who also play at the festival's award ceremony.
