A film that comes very close to our idea for GREEN HORIZONS: Twelve different projects across Europe show ideas, projects and perspectives for models on the way to a more sustainable society. Educational initiatives, refugee aid, new approaches to self-determined crafts, common welfare economy, soft tourism, organic farming - many important sustainability issues are touched upon. Some things are somewhat bizarre, some things are avant-garde, but everything is encouraging and constructive. Cinematically an exciting inspiration and an appeal to us to take responsibility, dream of sustainability and act accordingly.

Director's Biography:Dahringer is producer, directress and editor for film & TV. Kala is artist, directress and producer. After their graduation in London and short film projects this inspiring feature film production brought these two women together for the first time.
