Three young women in a shared apartment in hip Tel Aviv. They share not only the joint apartment: as Palastinians with Israeli passports, the conflict between the set of values of their traditional background and the promise of freedom of city life runs through their everyday life. Apart from religion, tradition, sexual self-determination and domestic violence, they all have to struggle with their own problems - again and again they are confronted with tricky balancing acts. Despite their differences, they find strong solidarity within their colourful circle of friends and stand up for each other for their individual freedom. IN BETWEEN is Maysaloun Hamoud`s first full-length feature film.
