Two clowns, Meh and Weh (pronounced: may and way) are sitting in a dark prison cell. When they have finished their breakfast there, they go on an odyssey of cabaret through the GeeDeeAr. They visit strange monuments and strange events. On a traditional German “Walpurgisnacht” which turns out to be a reunification party, they are insulted and chased off stage. After the two literary musical stage programs “Old of the GeeDeeAr” and “News from the GeeDeeAr” of the poets, clowns and songwriters Wenzel & Menschling, “Last of the GeeDeeAr” is a filmic adaption, in which Jörg Foth satirically captures political and human aspects of the time between October 1989 and October 1990.
