Since her mother works a lot, Romy spends her time in the styling salon of her grandmother Stine. At first grudgingly due to her boredom until she notices that her help is needed: Stine's everyday life is getting more and more challenging because she is suffering from dementia. Romy helps her as much as she can and doesn't only get to know the happy and sad moments of the old age, she also goes on a journey through the past with her grandmother. A touching movie which is fine without an extraordinary pathos – it's a story to smile at andcry about. A tribute to family ties and the grandmother.

Director's Biography:Born 1970, she studied at the Nederlandse Film en Televisie Academie. She directed countless shortfilms, documentaries, feature films and series. Her film "Ein Pferd für Winky" (2005) was internationally popular. Her films received many awards, amongst others by the KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival.
