Even heroes get older: John McClane visits his estranged son in Moscow - and happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. His daredevil son has to protect a witness for the US government. The Russian underworld is already breathing down the witness's neck. Together, father and son fight against time to prevent a dangerous change of power in Russia. In the process, they discover that they are simply unbeatable as a team. Sebastian Koch plays the Russian Yuri Komarov in the action film, who initially has to be protected against the Mafia.

Director's Biography:Born in Ireland in 1970. Studied filmmaking in Dublin, then worked in television and advertising. His bombastic and visually impressive advertising film for the launch of a games console secured him a contract with 20th Century Fox.
