Rome, today: Young neo-fascist Enrico demonstrates against the opening of a refugee camp. Suddenly, a zombie-apokalypse emerges from within the demonstrants. Enrico flees to the camp. Here, he gets support. Together they have to fight off the undead. But did Enrico really change? Gualano successfully ties in with the socio-critical tradition of the 1970s low budget zombie cinema. Carefully, she paints a community of diverse characters whose actors speak their mother tongue. GO HOME – A CASA LORO won the  cclaimed Mario Bava Award at the Fantafestival in Rome.
